Delivery drivers, particularly those working for companies like Amazon, Fedex and UPS are at increased risk of dog bites due to the nature of their jobs. A report from the National Dog Bite Prevention Week Coalition highlighted that in 2020, delivery drivers were the third most common group bitten by dogs, following children and the elderly. The United States Postal Service reported 5,803 attacks on postal workers that year.
